I Three Years Old
My youngest son turned three yesterday and I’m still digesting that. Of course, I can vividly remember his birth, giving him his first bath, watching him like a hawk until they put the electromagnetic bracelet on him in the Maternity Ward, taking him home later…
But, I think, I like him the best now. His personality is really developing in the past month. It sprung to life right after he learned potty training. It’s amazing to watch him smile, tell stories, and enact facial expressions befitting a toddler filled with wonder and joy.
I actually thought that, after my seeing first kid going through this, I would be more passe’ about it, but I’m not. Both are wonderful kids and I love watching them grow.
So, to my youngest, Happy 3rd Birthday! To oldest, Happy (pending in a few weeks) 7th Birthday! These are the best times of my life. I hope you’re enjoying it too.
